On 31st July 2025 BexleyCo obtained planning permission for its proposed development at the Bursted Woods former maternity hospital site on Erith Road.
The scheme comprises 113 quality new 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and 8 new family houses all with associated parking. The development refurbishes and converts the locally listed former maternity hospital into apartments. New public realm and play space will be created and provides a contributions to improved health provision.
