The top priority for BexleyCo Homes is always the health, safety and wellbeing of the public and everyone who works on our sites and in our office. We are keen supporters of the measures taken by the Government in containing the Coronavirus, and in doing so we took the decision to suspend works across our sites and not recommence construction operations until we are satisfied that it is safe to do so.
The Construction Leadership Council has provided further guidance on site operating procedures and how construction sites should operate safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this we have been working closely with our contractors and suppliers, to test a range of new site protocols to enable works to recommence, while ensuring that the necessary social distancing restrictions are enforced. These new measures are fully compliant with Government public health guidance and will allow us to re-open the Old Farm Place site swiftly, with works resuming on Monday 4th May.
