BexleyCo Homes commences its design work on the Old Sidcup Library site

BexleyCo Homes has started its work to submit a scheme to the Local Authority for planning approval.  The design team will be led by BexleyCo’s experienced Development Manager Scott Westgate with support from Stitch Architects, Nexus Planning Consultants, Symmetrys Civil and Structural Engineers, Flatt Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, Premier Energy Utilities Consultant, Bickerdike Allen Acoustic Consultants, Native Ecology Consultants and HW & Co Arboriculture Consultants.

The scheme will deliver a building that is sympathetic to the surroundings, whilst making the best use of space and existing trees to further enhance the development.

Scott Westgate, Development Manager for BexleyCo Homes said: “This is another exciting opportunity for BexleyCo Homes to contribute to the local community by providing modern living in the town centre and enabling reinvestment into local services.”

Sally Lewis, Director of Stitch Architects said: “Stitch is delighted to be working with BexleyCo on this exciting project in Sidcup town centre. This is an opportunity to breathe new life into the site to the rear of the high street, with the potential to offer an elegant apartment block frontage onto Hadlow Road, set behind existing mature trees. We look forward to developing our ideas with the local community.”

As Bexley’s local developer, BexleyCo is proud to be commencing another quality development providing much needed homes for local people, with our returns to be reinvested by the London Borough of Bexley back into services and facilities for Bexley’s residents.
